Pott Change is a company specialised in buying and selling banknotes. We also take care of your money transfers worldwide or inside the Netherlands. Our office has separate counters for our services to help you as soon as possible. Besides that we can offer you a special, private cabin to exchange larger amounts in seclusion.

Buying and selling currencies
At our office on the Damrak in Amsterdam you can exchange currency to Euro’s or buy currency for your holiday or business. We always have a large stock of the most frequent used currencies like American Dollars, English pounds, Swiss Francs etcetera. If you like to buy “less popular” currencies please contact us first. If necessary we can order your currencies via one of our associates. Within two days, but most of the time within 24 hours, you can pick up your order. If you wish to change a larger amount (above € 2.500), we can usually offer even better rates than normal. But ask us first!

Travellers cheques
Besides cash money we also accept travellers cheques. The exchange rates for travellers cheques are the same as cash, but we charge € 1.50 on any amount you change. For Euro traveller cheques we charge 1,5 % commission. Our commission on travellers cheques is much lower than the regular banks and the originating traveller cheques companies will charge you. Especially on larger amounts you can save hundreds of Euro’s when you look for better rates and commission charges on travellers cheques. Call us to compare our rates with other companies!

Money transfers
As a partner of Western Union, the biggest network for money transfers with 225.000 agents in 195 countries, we are specialised in money transfers all over the world. We can send your money order to anybody else, anywhere in the world. A money transfer of Western Union is a safe, quick and popular means to get money somewhere else. At all Western Union offices you can also receive money that somebody sends to you. For sending or receiving money transfers a valid identification is always required.
